Best Practices For Cultivating And Maintaining A Professional Digital Identity

The Graduate Education Committee seeks participants for a workshop on maintaining a professional online identity.  The intended audiences for this session are graduate students and recent PhD’s who are interested in learning how a professional digital identity can benefit them on the job market and beyond. We welcome presenters who can discuss specific strategies based on experiential knowledge that can be used toward cultivating and maintaining a professional digital platform. Presentations can draw on experiences with social media like Facebook, and Twitter, as well as other digital platforms, like professional websites and blogs.

Please send a short abstract of your presentation, your name, institutional affiliation, and contact information to Stephanie Laudone at slaudone@bmcc.cuny.edu by October 10, 2016.

The ESS Annual Meeting is scheduled for February 23-26, 2017, and is being held at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For general information about the ESS 2017 Annual Meeting, please go to http://www.essnet.org.
