Sociology/Behavioral Science Position Description (three)

Fall 2017

The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy College is seeking candidates for three full-time faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in Behavioral Science.  Applicants must have a PhD in Sociology, Behavioral Science, or a closely related discipline.  Candidates with the following specializations are particularly encouraged to apply:

  • Demography or life-course analysis
  • Health or Healthcare
  • Adult Education, or substantial teaching experience with non-traditional age students

Candidates should have a strong record of teaching effectiveness with undergraduate students, scholarly productivity and a commitment to service.
