One-year Teaching Fellow, Lebanon Valley College

The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a teaching fellow in Criminal Justice for the 2016-2017 academic year. The position is a full-time, nine month position with a 3-3 teaching load. Responsibilities include teaching research methods at the 300 or junior level, as well as substantive courses in criminal justice that focus on intercultural communication competence and social justice. Courses could include Criminal Justice Ethics, Intercultural Competent Policing and Re-Entry, as well as an open area of specialization. The candidate will teach three courses in the fall and three in the spring. The salary is $35,000.00 and includes health insurance benefits and a stipend for professional travel. Candidates should possess ABD or a Ph.D. with evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching for intercultural competence.
