The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Mercy College is seeking a candidate for a full-time position multiple-year position as Assistant Professor of Behavioral Sciences/Sociology. Candidates must have a PhD in Behavioral Science, Sociology or a related social science discipline at the time of hire. Applicants with specialization in Methods and Research; Economic Sociology; Education (especially adult education); Theory; Demography and Stratification; and Social Institutions and Organizations, are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a strong record of teaching effectiveness with undergraduate students and strong potential for social research and scholarly activity.
